Ferrosilicon Furnace
The Ferrosilicon Furnace is a specialized metallurgical furnace designed for the production of ferrosilicon alloy through high-temperature reduction smelting process.
The furnace uses electric energy as the primary heat source. During operation, quartz, iron materials, and carbonaceous reducing agents are charged into the furnace, where electric arc heat and resistance heat generated by the electrodes complete the reduction reaction under high-temperature conditions, producing ferrosilicon alloy efficiently and continuously.
Ferrosilicon is widely used in steelmaking, foundry industry, stainless steel production, and alloy manufacturing as an important deoxidizer and alloying agent.
