Low Carbon Ferrochrome Submerged Arc Furnace Solution
CHNZBTECH provides advanced Low Carbon Ferrochrome Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) solutions for the production of low and micro carbon ferrochrome. The furnace adopts mature electro-silicothermic smelting technology, featuring stable operation, optimized energy efficiency, high alloy recovery, and intelligent automation control. It is widely used in ferroalloy and stainless steel industries for continuous industrial production.
Raw Material Requirements
To ensure stable smelting performance and high-quality alloy production, the furnace is designed for the following raw material specifications:
•Chromium ore: Cr₂O₃ >40%, Cr₂O₃/ΣFeO ratio >2.0, phosphorus ≤0.03%, particle size ≤50 mm
•Silicon chromium alloy: low carbon grade according to final product requirements, particle size ≤15 mm
•Lime: CaO >88%, phosphorus <0.02%, particle size 10–50 mm
Proper raw material control helps improve alloy recovery, reduce energy consumption, and maintain stable furnace conditions.
