Closed cooling tower (also known as evaporative air cooler, closed cooling tower or closed cooling tower) is a tubular heat exchanger placed in the tower, through the circulation of air, spray water outside the tube and the heat exchange of circulating water inside the tube to ensure the cooling effect.  Because the circulating water is a closed circulation in the pipe, it can ensure that the water quality is not polluted, which well protects the efficient operation of the main equipment and improves the service life.  When the outside temperature is low, the spray water system can be stopped to save water.  With the implementation of national energy conservation and emission reduction policies and the increasing shortage of water resources, closed cooling towers have been widely used in iron and steel metallurgy, power electronics, mechanical processing, air conditioning system and other industries in recent years.  

1. Classification:  

According to different flow direction and wind direction, it can be divided into: counterflow closed cooling tower, cross-flow closed cooling tower and mixed-flow closed cooling tower.  

According to different shell materials, it can be divided into galvanized steel closed cooling tower, aluminum-zinc plate closed cooling tower, stainless steel closed cooling tower, glass fiber reinforced plastic closed cooling tower, etc.  

According to different materials of heat exchanger, it can be divided into copper tube closed cooling tower, stainless steel tube closed cooling tower, carbon steel tube closed cooling tower, titanium tube closed cooling tower, aluminum tube closed cooling tower, etc.  

According to different types of fans, it can be divided into: draft type closed cooling tower and blast type closed cooling tower.  

2. Operation steps of closed cooling tower control:  

2.1 First, confirm that the corresponding pipelines and control lines are connected well, press the two starting knobs of "Main Water Pump on" and "Fan on" (indicating light is on, indicating both work), and observe whether the water pump rotates clockwise, whether the water flow direction runs in the direction indicated by the arrow, whether the water pressure is normal, water leakage and abnormal sound.  Please observe whether the wind direction of the fan is upward (if the wind direction is opposite, just replace 2 of the 3 wires of the fan motor in the electric control cabinet) and if there is abnormal dithering sound, solve the problem immediately. If the problem cannot be solved, please contact the company in time.  

2.2 The sprinkler system is an automatic temperature control system: when the sprinkler switch is started up, the sprinkler pump will start and stop automatically with the increase and decrease of temperature;  The parameters of the automatic temperature controller are generally set before leaving the factory, so the user does not need to change the parameters at will, otherwise it is easy to cause the temperature controller control failure;  If the temperature parameters need to be changed, the user's technical personnel must read the instructions carefully, or our professional technical personnel can explain before operation.  

2.3 stop : When the general equipment needs to stop running, it only needs to accept the two buttons of "water pump stop" and "fan stop", and the whole device can stop working.  If the cooling equipment is to cool the diathermic furnace or melting furnace, when the furnace stops working, the cooling system cannot stop immediately, until the furnace is completely cooled before the shutdown.  Therefore, a time relay is added to the cooling system. In case of power failure, adjust the time relay to the corresponding time according to the need. Turn on the button of the time relay and turn off the fan.  The next time you start the machine, just turn off the time relay switch and the water pump will automatically resume operation, so as to protect the equipment (furnace body) and save energy.  Warning: the pump must not run without water!  

2.4 Reset thermal overload protection  

The thermal overload relay of fan motor and pump motor is respectively installed in the electrical system.  After the protection action, the red reset button on the thermal overload relay at the lower end of the corresponding AC contactor must be pressed to the bottom to reset the thermal overload.  Otherwise, the "pump on" or "fan on" button will not be able to pull the corresponding AC contactor.  

2.5 Replenish the water tank  

Observe the liquid level display pipe on the water tank of the closed cooling tower, and find that the water level is lower than two-thirds of the water tank, please add soft water in time.
